Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms govern the use of the website operated by SUNY Admissions Office in Korea (the "Company") at sunykorea.org (the "Site"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and its users.

Article 2 (Services)

• Information about admission to The State University of New York (SUNY)
• Receiving pre-screening requests and replying to them
• Eligibility pre-screening, document auditing, and application entry verification
• Coordinating document revisions with admissions staff and confirming application status
• Announcements of events such as admissions info sessions

The application account and the final submission remain the responsibility of the applicant. The Company does not provide ghostwriting or AI-generated essays and résumés, profile assessment, or application strategy consulting, and does not act for the user in post-admission enrollment procedures. Where writing support is needed, the Company may refer the user to a partner agency; the scope and fee of that service are agreed separately between the agency and the user.

Final admission decisions rest with each university's admissions committee.

Article 3 (Nature of the Information)

Admission requirements, tuition, scholarships, and similar information on the Site are provided for reference and may change without notice under each university's policies. Confirm the latest details in a consultation or through each university's official channels.

Article 4 (Intellectual Property)

The content of the Site is copyrighted by the Company and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior consent. University names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective universities.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

• Provide accurate information when completing the inquiry form.
• Do not impersonate others or submit false information.
• Do not interfere with the normal operation of the Site.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or system failures. Admission decisions rest solely with each university; the Company does not guarantee admission.

Article 7 (Disputes)

Disputes relating to these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with jurisdiction determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
