Deadline

Spring 2027 (January Entry) — The Earliest Deadline Is October 1

If you are aiming for January 2027 entry, this is the final stretch. Deadlines differ by nearly two months across the four campuses, so check your target campus first.

CampusSpring 2027 application deadline
University at BuffaloOctober 1 (recommended for international applicants)
Binghamton UniversityNovember 1 (transfer priority; later applications reviewed as space allows)
Stony Brook UniversityNovember 1 (priority deadline)
University at AlbanyDecember 1 (transfer priority; rolling review)

* Based on each university's official admissions pages as of August 2026. Dates can differ by program; we confirm the final date during your consultation.

Spring intake is smaller than fall, but for transfer applicants who already have college credits it is a good way to start a semester earlier.

  • What you need now: transcripts in English, an English proficiency score, financial documentation
  • Note: after admission, the I-20 and visa interview typically take 6–8 weeks. To make a January start, securing your admission by November is the safe target.

If your documents are ready, there is still time. Book a free consultation and we will assess what is achievable in the remaining window.

Now Open

Fall 2027 Applications Are Open — All Four Campuses Close Early Action on November 1

With the Common App now open, the Fall 2027 cycle has begun. As it happens, all four partner campuses share the same Early Action deadline of November 1 — which means one round of preparation covers all of them.

CampusEarly ActionRegular
University at AlbanyNovember 1March 1 (international)
Binghamton UniversityNovember 1January 15
University at BuffaloNovember 1February 1
Stony Brook UniversityNovember 1January 15

* Based on each university's official admissions pages as of August 2026. Some programs set earlier deadlines.

All four campuses also review on a rolling basis, so applying early means an earlier decision and review before seats fill. Above all, merit scholarships for international students are usually decided alongside the application — so if scholarships matter to you, November 1 is effectively your deadline.

Starting now leaves more than two months to improve English scores and develop your essays. Book a free consultation and we will build a plan that fits the time remaining.
